I've been pondering adventure lately and decided that one of my main goals is to lead a life full of adventure. Some people are content to live their lives the way they have always lived it and that may be all fine and well, but that is not the life for me. Anyway, I don't really have anything to inspiring to say on this subject, so instead I'll post some of my favorite quotes on adventure. :)
"If adventures will not befall a young lady in her own village, she must seek them abroad." - Jane Austen Northanger Abbey
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” — Mark Twain
“A ship is safe in harbor, but that’s not what ships are built for.” — John A. Shedd
“Remember what Bilbo used to say: ‘It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to.”” — J.R.R. Tolkien
"I want adventure in the great wide somewhere, I want it more than I can tell. And for once it might be grand, to have someone understand that I want so much more then they have planned" -Beauty and the Beast
